'靈' can be interpreted as 'Spirit'.
The word, 靈 is known as Chinese letter. But there has been an opinion that be originated from Korea (Corea).
In terms of of 靈, Chinese 靈 is composed of rain (雨), three mouths (口口口), and magician or shaman (巫).
But, The author Yang tried a new approach in the way of semiotic interpretation of in the perspective of Korea Words and eventually decoded the meaning of into the conceptual essence of 'Jesus' saving human'.
As above pictogram, the horizontal line in the upper part of a letter indicates 'Sky, heaven, God Father'.
The vertical line downward from the horizontal line in the upper part means honor or respect for God.
The rectangle without the base line points out the kingdom of God.
Two small horizontal lines within the rectangle lack of the base signify both 'sky or heaven' in the upper part and 'earth' in the lower part.
Three mouths mean Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, in the center, the right side, and the left side, respectively.
The Chinese word, 工 means work or .
In Yang's semiotic interpretation, the '工' can be splited into three parts; the upper horizontal line (heaven, sky), the mid vertical line (actor, executor), and the lower horizontal line (earth)'. This means 'Holy Spirit'.
The Chinese , 人 indicated man, human.
In Yang's semiotic interpretation, 人 in the left side means Jesus and simultaneously man alive, and in contrast, 人 in the right side means Jesus and after death, namely (revival of a dead person).
In summary, the word as now known as Chinese letter, 靈 means spirit in English. In the perspective of Korea Words and Christianity, 靈 signifies a part of the Lord's prayer (Mattew 6:9~10) and Jesus' resurrection and his Lambs can be raised from the dead through Jesus' grace.
