There have been many arguments.
Interestingly, in biblical
Hebrew (Genesis 2:21–22), the word translated as "rib" is צֵלָע (tselaʿ / sela), which more commonly means
"side" or "side chamber / plank" in other contexts. It only
means "rib" in that one famous passage, and some scholars argue the
translation emphasizes "side" rather than specifically a single bone <Grok review>.
In this
point, I re-translate the <, one part of HanJa 女:
“In my view, when Eve was created as Adam's counterpart, she was formed by God through unconditional love, resulting in a wife who mirrors/reminds Adam of himself, thus establishing them as a united unique couple."
